25. Family type house "Svedlund"

It is one of the four built example houses awarded in the international architectonic competition, advertised by the company Ba»a in the year 1935. This house of the Swedish architect received 1st prize in the competition. It was designed with a feeling for Zlín's context. Windows with lowered window-sills on the first floor are rare in Zlín. The extension of the house is from 1939.

A typical "one-house" Ba»a house was built at the same time as example houses of the architectonic competition. The house was expanded in several modifications. Particularly in the suburb Díly. It is labeled as a "one-house" for teachers and therefore it was an above standard type of living.
27. Villa of Mr. Vojtěch Ba»a

The villa was built for the family of Mr. Vojtěch Ba»a, the director of the building department of the Ba»a company. House no. 277 was built for the parents of his wife Ludmila (birth surname Mazalová). In the case of the villa of Mr. Vojtěch Ba»a, Mr. Karfík maintained free and noble expressional positions, typical for the look of the Ba»a Zlín. Elegance of the house lies in proportions and details. The house of the parents has a more traditional position.

Freely standing Ba»a house with four residential units is the oldest well-preserved example of Ba»a's company constructions for its employees. The house was built as part of a group of attic houses, co called "five houses", which bordered the Kotěra street. The houses were meant for four families. The external plan had an area of 17 x 8m. Living was situated in two floors, of which each flat in a separate floor. A henhouse, cowshed and a garden belonged to the flat. It was an economical but cultivated solution for living for the working man.

Freely standing Ba»a houses with four residential units are in one of the oldest streets in the suburb Letná. The houses were built as part of a group of 50 "new type" houses. The group bordering the Kotěra street previously had 10 houses, they were plastered houses meant for four families with an external plan area of 15.7 x 9.15m. The houses are evidence of a period when houses were built with a modest disposition with a large kitchen and a large room. The house has a bathroom, ducting, and sewerage. With the development of these houses it was from then on a custom that each new house for the employees of the Ba»a firm had a bathroom and a WC.

Massive development of company houses changed the suburb into a spacious garden suburb. The name "Letná" gradually changed into a whole new suburb from previous block of houses. Rows of quarter houses which according to previous town planning had sufficient land around them were "surrounded" by rows of further quarter houses. To 1945 a total of 2.210 houses were built, which till today give Zlín their typical character.
31. Family type houses " Ríša - I"

A group of four types of family houses are of a higher standard and have several features of villas. The basic cube shape of the house has a glass veranda. The separation of facades responds to the orientation of north-south-east-west points of the house. Even to this day these types of houses are of high used quality.
32. "One-house" with a garage and a terrace

It is a group of 21 Ba»a houses of the same type which form a continuous row in the street Slovenská. They are economic types of "one-houses". In the 1st floor there is a so called "moving" window which is accessible from the terrace (this window is used for moving larger pieces of furniture to and from the house). The elegant architecture of each of the houses is enhanced due to the repetition and turning in street views.

These very economical eight flat houses extend the typological composition on Ba»a architecture meant for living. Urban wise they not only connect to the basic pavilion plan of Mr. Gahura of the Ba»a hospital but also to the housing development in the suburb Zálešná which neighbors in the west.
34. Experimental cell of the Collective house

This is an experimental family house, respectively a one module of a flat. For the construction of the Collective house a range of new constructions was used and therefore it was decided that a small cell of this type of house be built with all internal furnishings. The experiences with this cell were then later used in the construction of the Collective house. The house is a significant object for the development of the Zlín post-war architecture.

35. House with machine workshop of Mrs. Anna Sedláčková

The present condition of the building resulted in the superstructure and extension of the older locksmith's workshop, which was designed in 1936 by the company of Mr. Josef Winkler in Zlín. It was a ground floor, non - cellar, building with fired bricks with a flat roof. In 1941 the project of the first floor was designed which served as flats for the employees, in 1947 a change of construction was designed - only 1 flat in floor.
36. Villa of Mr. Vladimír Bárta

Director Mr. Vladimír Bárta (born 1931, employed in animated films), his wife Dagmar Bártová was a graphic artist in large scale production of shoes. The first project was designed in 1975 by architect Mr. Karel Zeman from Ostrava (son of director Mr. Karel Zeman). After that architect Plesník was asked to design a new plan. The house belongs to a group of Plesník's villa constructions, which are spread out in Zlín and surrounding areas. Barta's villa is a significant architectonic piece of work which is also due to the garden, fencing and the hardened area.
